Chief Executive Officer

Mike DeLaRosa

Mike DeLaRosa is the chief executive officer for RUSH Specialty Hospital. In this role since 2023, Mike is responsible for overall management of the hospital from quality care to program development. Additionally, Mike ensures the hospital meets all standards for certification and licensure, and remains in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Before taking on the role of chief executive officer, Mike served as market CEO for a multi-site, post-acute hospital system in Chicago. He has leadership experience working in academic medical centers, community hospitals and post-acute care hospitals.

Mike attained his Master of Business Administration from DePaul University - Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
