About Financial Assistance

A patient’s potential to benefit from rehabilitation services is the primary criteria used when determining admission to RUSH Specialty Hospital. Services are covered by most insurance carriers including Medicare and Medicaid. We will verify insurance benefits and pre-certify admissions prior to actual admission.

RUSH Specialty Hospital does provide financial assistance for medically necessary care to patients who are unable to pay. All applicants for financial assistance will be screened for Medicaid coverage and must work with Medicaid representatives in order to be considered for financial assistance.
